Gagan Malhotra is the General Director of CHL
International
which is the owner and operator of the Hilton
Dushanbe Hotel.
Born in Kuwait in 1968, Mr. Gagan Malhotra spent his
earlier years there and his formative educational years at
Mayo College, Ajmer in India and at The University of
Michigan, Ann Arbor In the United States. Gagan’s family is
one of the oldest Indian business groups in the Middle East.
With the reconstruction of Kuwait in 1992, he played a key
role in the rebuilding of the business which has diverse
interests across an international footprint comprising of
hospitality, construction, real estate development, trading
and logistics.
Gagan is the General Director of CHL International which is
the owner and operator of the Hilton Dushanbe Hotel. CHL
international is one of the oldest foreign investors in
Tajikistan and Gagan has been the head of project since the
beginning. He is a passionate hotelier and works closely with
his team members to epitomise “Mehmonawozi” by providing
the highest level of customer service making Hilton Dushanbe
a leader in the hospitality business in Tajikistan.
Gagan sits on the Supervisory Board that oversees the
business interests of the Group.

Gulnora Razykov – Director of Prospect Medical
Clinic Medical doctor, health system specialist and health administrator with leadership experience in executive
management, technical and research support, budget and
activity planning and operations. Have over 20 years’
experience, including management of health sector projects,
social and education projects, private health practice
management, and finance management. Have clinical
background and research experience in the social sector,
clinical pharmacology, and health care environment in
Tajikistan. Participated in number of successful proposal
writing in health and education programs for USAID, EU,
ADB and other donors, including inputs in technical and
financial parts.
Ph.D. in medical sciences (Moscow, Russia) and executive
MBA diploma with health service research master paper
(Steinbeis University, Berlin). Published more than 20
scientific articles in the medical research field, including
pharmacological research, wash and sanitation, nutrition

Burak Ates – General Manager at Coca-Cola İçecek in Tajikistan.
In 2008 Mr. Burak Ates joined Coca-Cola Icecek (CCI), his
extensive experience spans multiple roles in Sales &
Finance and different geographies. He assumed Country
Finance Director roles in 3 operations (Kyrgyzstan,
Azerbaijan, and Pakistan) over a decade. Following his
Finance leadership roles, He served as East Sales Manager
for 1.5 years. Since August 2023, he appointed as General
Manager of CCI Tajikistan.
Mr. Ates has graduated from Bilkent University Economics
department in 2002 and completed MBA degree 2004.
Burak holds CPA degree (Certified Public Accountant).
Started his career in PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) at
2004 as Financial Audit & consultant and later as an
experienced consultant in the Advisory (M&A) team.

Zulkifl Bhatti is the General Manager of Hyatt Regency
Dushanbe.

Mr. Bhatti brings 23 years of experience and professional
expertise gained at Hyatt properties like: Hyatt Regency
Chicago, Grand Hyatt Muscat, Hyatt Regency Perth, Hyatt
Regency Ekaterinburg, Hyatt House Jeddah and Hyatt Regency
Dushanbe.

Sergey Kim – CEO of FINCA Tajikistan
Sergey Kim, a native Korean, born and raised in Uzbekistan,
is a CEO of the Microcredit Deposit Organization FINCA
Tajikistan, a fully-owned subsidiary of FINCA Microfinance
Holding Company, based out of Washington, DC, United
States.
Sergey is a banking and impact and inclusive finance
professional with over 20 years of experience in the region,
including Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kosovo and Tajikistan,
with over 12 years of work and life experience in the latter.
He holds a degree in Economics majoring in “Finance and
Credit” from the Karakalpak State University in Uzbekistan,
and a Master of Arts Degree in International Development
from the University of Denver, CO USA. Sergey has also
completed the Stonier Graduate School of Banking of the
American Bankers Association at the University of
Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA USA.
When Sergey is not behind the wheel, he likes going out for
fishing, and spends time trying out to being a chef.
